SECRETARY'S REPORT
The Secretary's report for the meetings of 31 October
and 30 November were accepted without change. Meeting minutes are now posted on
the County EMA Website: http://www.androscogginema.org
OLD BUSINESS
A. Committee Secretary reported there were no requests for community right-to-know information since the last meeting
B. Committee Secretary provided the SERC and SERC Training Reports the SERC meeting has been scheduled for 20 January - there is nothing new to report at this time; EMA Training Report - EMA Deputy Director conducted CAMEO Training forselect members of the COBRA Team and has been busy scheduling ICS 300-400 Training for municipalities; CERT/CART training is ongoing; facilities and public safety had nothing to report for training activities
C. Financial Report: Funds received since last meeting: $3,000.00 for HM Tech Refresher training + $2,581.02 for contract planner + earned interest of $50.89 for November for a total of $5,631.91; total expenditures $392,557.46; unencumbered balance $26,641.95 and encumbered balance $10,150.60; purchases made since last meeting none; purchases to recommend - paper
D. Status of Homeland Security Grant 2007 - Where are we now?
FY-08 Homeland Security Grant Program Grant applications were reviewed by the County Review Committee on December 3 and the package with the Committees recommendations and prioritization was submitted to MEMA on 5 December; the State Review committee was scheduled to meet on December 11 & 12 but the December 12 meeting was canceled due to the storm and rescheduled for December 31; we should receive word of the awards sometime in early January

COBRA Team status: several members attended
CAMEO training on December 10; will participate in the Bates College ammonia Tabletop
Exercise on January 15

A. Tim Bubier conducted a CAMEO 101
presentation to provide committee members with an overview that dynamic program
