Morgan, called the meeting to order at 0830 hours. The committee was informed
of the recent death of James Rioux of Lewiston Police Department who served on
the LEPC for several years.

SECRETARY'S REPORT
The Secretary's report for the meeting of 30 May was

OLD BUSINESS
A. Committee Secretary reported there were no requests for community right-to-know information since the last meeting
B. Committee Secretary provided the SERC and SERC Training Reports there is no SERC meeting until July 15 so nothing to report; SERC Conference was well attended Joanne and KC attended both days and got some useful information; the LEPC annual workplan and budget are due to SERC by July 1 for SERCs review and action at the July 15 meeting work is nearly completed; the 2008 DOT Emergency Response guidebooks (ERGs) have arrived and distribution is underway there are only a few changes that Joanne will review; EMA Training Report Hazmat Ops Refresher training for Auburn Fire Department has been scheduled for August; the DuPont Train will be in Waterville on July 28 to 31 and will offer 8 hr classes for emergency responders 25 persons each class and Mr. Riordon will forward registration information
C. Financial Report: Funds received since last meeting: $505.94 for HSGP invoices (mini MERV equipment) + $1,995.00 for Hazmat Training for Durham Fire Dept + earned interest of $63.66 for May for a total of $2,564.60; total LEPC expenditures $382,405.67; unencumbered balance $27,353.31 and encumbered balance $13,479.08; purchases made since last meeting paper, envelopes and labels
D. Status of Homeland Security Grant 2007 - Where are we now?
Communications Interoperability Grant of $4.1 million for statewide two applications received to date all are due to the County office NLT July 1 the County Review Committee will meet on July 11 and the packages are due to MEMA on July 15
E. COBRA Team status: nothing to report since the last meeting
F. IMAT Vehicle status: all communications equipment and computers have been installed; the two seats have been installed, the trailer and vehicle are at the Sign Store for lettering; currently waiting on a few last minute items such as tent, heatere, generator and basic office supplies

held the 2nd Monday of each month at 1:30 PM at County EMA
